Currently based in Marrickville, our operations will be moving to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Pemulwuy later this year.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our yoghurt production line running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our essential machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage line changeovers and provide daily production support

Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance using our computerized system (Fixx)

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime

Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitor equipment performance

Collaborate with production staff to optimize equipment functionality

Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and quality standards

Assist with the setup and commissioning of new equipment at our upcoming Pemulwuy site

What we're looking for

Mechanical trade qualification (essential)

Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an FMCG or production environment

Knowledge of GMP

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices

Team player with the ability to work independently

Strong commitment to health and safety standards

Flexibility with start/finish times and availability to work Saturdays when required
