In this role, you will coordinate and provide an efficient, accurate accounts processing and payment service for the RACQ Group. Your efforts will ensure that our operational performance is maintained at a high standard service to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the items in the account payable mailboxes are processed within 3 business days of receipt.
- Ensure payment runs are processed within accordance timeframes.
- Ensure all errors are escalated to the Manager Group Finance in a timely manner.
- Assist RACQ staff with processing invoices and their approvals within the general ledger system.
- Ensure payments received are processed in accordance with payment terms.
- Ensure payments without purchase orders (NOPOs) are coded with the correct financial dimensions and GST.
- Business partnering with internal finance departments and the wider RACQ organisation to assist with understanding financial accounting processes.
About you:
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Administration coordination
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good time management
- Mathematical ability
- Good communication skills, particularly the escalation of issues
- High key stroke rate with high accuracy
- Proficient knowledge of AP System Process/Enquiry/Setup
