SA Portable Long Service Leave (SAPLSL) is establishing a new state-based entity to work with both employers and employees, to administer portable long service leave entitlements for the South Australian community services industry.
SAPLSL are on the hunt for friendly Registrations Officer to join their team. As a Registrations Officer, you’ll be supporting employers and workers with registration and onboarding into the schemes, providing clear and friendly guidance on their obligations under the Portable Long Service Leave Act 2024. You’ll respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring every interaction is professional, informative, and helpful.
The role includes a wide range of functions including:
Assessing and processing applications to register as an employer, worker, self-employed contractor or working director in accordance with the Portable Long Service Leave Act 2024
Providing onboarding support for new clients to ensure understanding and compliance
Answering enquiries and providing accurate information about portable long service leave
Working collaboratively with the team to improve client onboarding and customer service processes.

About You:
You are friendly, helpful and professional, and are passionate about delivering great customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively, combined with an understanding of the community services sector, will set you up for success in this role.
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience in customer service and administration roles, including data entering and processing.
A strong grasp of legislative processes and their practical applications.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
Demonstrated ability to work under general direction, prioritise work under pressure and organise time effectively.
Capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
Experience providing a high level of customer service, including explaining complex concepts to third parties through phone, email and in person.
Skills and experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
It’s also great if you have:
Experience working in the community services sector.
Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
