Data Governance Specialist

Talenza's client, a leading company in healthcare, is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to help setting up their Governance capability. You will be working with well-established and reliable teams, working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Location: Brisbane-based, minimum 3 days/week onsite

Employment Type: Permanent

Environment: Azure data stack

Your role:
You'll play a critical role in shaping how data is governed, accessed, and trusted across the organisation. From defining policies and frameworks to embedding best practices and driving adoption, you'll be the go-to expert on data quality, stewardship, and governance strategy.

Ideal Background:

• Proven experience in establishing or leading data governance initiatives
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks
• Experience working in Azure-based environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with healthcare data and privacy standards is a plus
