Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking a range of ingredients and dishes, including vegetables, soups, broths, sliced meats, seafood, and other hot food items. You will also be involved in the final stages of food preparation, such as plating dishes, garnishing cooked items, and ensuring all hot menu plates are presented with appropriate accompaniments. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, supporting efficient kitchen operations, and assisting with stock rotation and general preparation duties will also form part of your role.

To be successful candidate you need to have:

· Relevant AQF qualification in Commercial Cookery and at least one year of relevant experience

· A positive attitude and work well with other team members

· Able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

· Able to communicate clearly with owner, kitchen, and dining room personnel

· Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed

· Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
