🔹 About the Role

This is a split role, combining hands-on care in the community with in-house clinical education. You’ll support our clients with complex health needs in their homes while also training and mentoring support workers to deliver safe, confident care.

🏡 Community-Based Nursing Care

Provide in-home support to clients with complex needs

Tasks may include PEG feeding, catheter & bowel care, wound care, insulin administration, epilepsy management, and manual handling

Majority of shifts fall in the early morning (6–10am) or evening (6–8pm)

🏢 Internal Training & Education

Facilitate practical, hands-on training sessions for support workers

Be on-site at our Wollongong office 1–2 days per week (varies based on need)

Help improve training materials and keep records up to date

You’ll receive refresher training before running sessions solo

🧠 What You Bring

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

At least 3 years’ experience in clinical or advanced care

Background in community, aged care, or disability services (NDIS experience a big plus)

Confident in both clinical practice and adult education

Excellent communication, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with our wider team
