Our client is an award-winning national contractor with a significant project portfolio across Australia due to solid growth they are currently seeking an experienced HSE professional to join the existing team in Melbourne.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that can demonstrate;

Relevant tertiary qualifications,

Experience in commercial construction/project delivery environment

Excellent communication (written & verbal) and formal report writing skills,

Solid understanding of Australian safety legislation and QA standards,

The ability to maintain and promote a safety conscience culture,

The ability to oversee multiple projects and maintain strong site reporting systems through effective consultation with site staff,

The ability to devise, develop and monitor effective risk assessment management strategies, and make recommendations on the implementation of these strategies,

The ability to review and develop health and safety policies, procedures and guidance, in keeping with best practice and make recommendations on their implementation and application.

Experience with in-house construction company safety systems and procedures.
