Company Overview:
Our client is a leading National insurance builder, based in Brisbane, known for their stability, quality work environment, and the ability to respond to those in need during times of weather crisis and unforeseen events.
This is a brand new position in the company as it embarks on the next chapter of growth, focusing on process and systems advancement and further investment in their HSEQ team. As such, this is a fantastic time to join, with direct mentoring and further elevation opportunities on offer as the company continues to expand on a National basis.
The position will suit a strong administrative orientated HSEQ professional.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the HSEQ Manager to support compliance, maintenance and improvement of the Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.
Take ownership for contractor ‘on and off boarding’ requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records management in-line with company and ISO requirements.
Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, including incident investigations and corrective actions.
Provide administrative support to develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies and procedures.
Collaborate with project teams to assist and respond to HSEQ considerations in planning and project delivery.
Assist in the role out and integration of newly adopted HSEQ systems and technology as it is procured.
Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant qualifications in HSEQ or related fields.
Superior administrative and IT / system capabilities.
2-3 years minimum experience in a similar role within the construction / building (insurance works) industry.
Developing knowledge of HSEQ legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
