Location: North Lakes, Brisbane | Full Time
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 package (inclusive of super)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Change & Communications Specialist to join a leading organisation undergoing large-scale transformation across its Claims operations. Based at North Lakes, this permanent role sits within the Claims Digitisation program, delivering long-term change initiatives to support innovation, efficiency, and an improved customer and employee experience.
This is a rare chance to contribute to a major transformation agenda and help shape how people across the organisation engage with and adopt new systems, workflows, and ways of working.
About the role
Working as part of a dedicated Change and Communications team, this role is responsible for planning and delivering people-focused change activities for both large-scale programs and smaller initiatives across the Claims and Assessing function.
You'll work closely with project managers, developers, analysts, SMEs, and senior leaders to ensure change is understood, embedded, and sustained—particularly across frontline teams. This includes initiatives such as the roll-out of a new workflow system, digitisation of motor claims, and future expansion into home claims.
You will be part of a collaborative team helping to build a more structured, consistent, and practical approach to change—supporting leaders and teams every step of the way.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement change delivery plans for strategic initiatives, with a strong focus on people impact and adoption
- Deliver practical change activities using a newly introduced change management framework and toolkit (communications plans, impact assessments, training coordination, lessons learned)
- Track and measure business readiness, change adoption, and process adherence to ensure outcomes are realised
- Support leaders to build their change capability and manage through disruption
- Ensure smaller initiatives are aligned with overall change methodology and frameworks
- Proactively identify change risks, resistance, and barriers—and develop mitigation strategies
- Partner with other business units such as Learning & Development and Operational Communications to coordinate support activities
About you
You are an experienced change professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You are comfortable working with ambiguity and take a practical, hands-on approach to guiding people through change.
You can work across the detail and the big picture, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring that change is not just delivered—but adopted and sustained.
You will bring:
- Strong experience in organisational or people change, preferably within project or transformation environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence in your decision-making ability and ability to influence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative, professional, and outcomes-focused approach
- An understanding of claims operations or process-driven environments is desirable, though not essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Change Management, Communications, HR or a related discipline are beneficial
