About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Director to lead our strategic growth and client engagement efforts within the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector in Australia. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving new business, expanding existing relationships, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality BPO and contact center solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across the BFSI sector.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across BPO and contact center services; lead complex sales cycles and RFP responses.
Strategic Account Planning:
Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth, service innovation, and client satisfaction.
Delivery Oversight:
Collaborate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective service delivery aligned with client expectations.
Revenue & Profitability:
Own the P&L for designated BFSI accounts, with accountability for revenue targets, margin performance, and growth.
Thought Leadership:
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to position TCS as a trusted advisor in the BFSI outsourcing space.
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client services in BPO/contact center environments, with at least 5+ years in the BFSI sector in Australia.
Established executive contacts within Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks, insurance, or financial institutions in the Australian market.
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets, managing large strategic accounts, and growing enterprise relationships.
Strong understanding of outsourcing, digital transformation, customer experience (CX), and operational excellence in BFSI.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work across cross-functional and offshore teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
