About the role

Join our friendly family team by being an important part of our mobile catering ice cream/coffee vans located in Casula.

We are looking for a manual driver that has a clean driving record and able to drive a manual Mr Whippy Van ice cream van to pre defined routes.

A perfect role for those looking for adventure and being able to work in different locations, no day is the same. Some days you are working at festivals, garden parks or at the beach to name a few locations, this means you are never stuck looking at the same four walls. The meeting point to start and end your shift is is always the same at our location in Casula, being mobile means the locations change.

Working days are Thursday to Monday and working weekends is a must, You will be an integral part of our operation. You are not working alone, there is someone working with you in the van in serving delicious sweet desserts.

What you'll be doing

Driving slowly and safely to pre-defined routes in the ice cream van

Preparing and learning the art of making ice cream, coffee, and other refreshments to customers

Maintaining a clean and well-stocked van to ensure an efficient and enjoyable customer experience

Handling cash and card payments accurately

Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour

Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards

Training and certificates to the correct candidates

What we're looking for

A drivers licence is a must, you have to be able to drive a manual Ford Transit Mr Whippy Van

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers

Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure

Good numeracy skills and attention to detail when handling cash and card transactions

Enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude

Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a mobile business

Must be able to work weekends
