MARS Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed financial services business to find a skilled FP&A Analyst to join them on a 6-month FTC with a view to be made permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates holding a working holiday visa, as the position offers sponsorship.

The Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Group's planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, including rolling monthly forecasts, quarterly updates, annual budgets, and five-year strategic plans.
• Prepare and present monthly business performance results and analysis for the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board reporting.
• Monitor and analyse key financial KPIs, including capital ratios, return on equity, net interest margin, cost-to-income ratio, and liquidity ratios.
• Contribute as a key member of the results team responsible for investor relations presentations and ASX financial disclosures.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling as required.
• Support capital management and planning through accurate and efficient modelling and scenario analysis.
• Conduct detailed expense analysis and projections.
• Maintain and update financial models, ensuring proper documentation, controls, and governance are in place.
• Report on the Group's daily liquidity and funding operations.
• Provide decision support for investment allocation and management.

Requirements:

• CA or CPA qualified, with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience.
• Background in banking or financial services is highly regarded.
• Advanced financial modelling and strong Excel skills.
