Red Hat's Sales team is looking for a driven and curious Associate Account Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in the North Sydney office. In this early-career role, you’ll support strategic enterprise accounts in the Telecommunications sector, working alongside a Sales Account Executive and a Senior Account Solution Architect. This is more than a technical role—it’s an opportunity to become a trusted advisor, solving real-world problems and shaping how major organizations adopt open source innovation to stay competitive.
You’ll play a key role in driving customer success through Red Hat’s cutting-edge technology portfolio—spanning cloud, automation, containerization, and enterprise Linux. You’ll sharpen your technical acumen, grow your consultative selling skills, and gain deep exposure to complex enterprise environments, all while building relationships that matter. What You’ll Do
Collaborate closely with the Senior Account Solution Architect and Sales Account Executive to craft compelling technology strategies and solutions that directly contribute to achieving sales goals.
Become a go-to resource for customers by understanding their business goals, identifying their technical challenges, and recommending Red Hat’s best-fit solutions.
Engage directly with customers during presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities to showcase the value and capabilities of Red Hat products.
Support the customer’s technical journey by guiding them through validation processes—from solution design to hands-on demonstrations and deep dives.
Continuously develop your knowledge of Red Hat’s product ecosystem and stay ahead of industry trends to position yourself as a trusted, value-adding advisor.
Learn from experienced mentors, receive ongoing coaching, and grow your influence as a strategic technical partner within your assigned accounts.
What You’ll Bring

A strong sense of ownership and accountability—you’re organized, motivated, and comfortable taking direction while proactively seeking opportunities to contribute.
3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer, Consultant, or Solution Architect, preferably in enterprise IT or software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
A natural collaborator who thrives in team-based environments and enjoys working cross-functionally to solve complex problems.
A genuine curiosity about open source technology, customer success, and the ever-evolving IT landscape
