About the Business

For over 80 years, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) has empowered individuals and organisations to thrive with industry-focused education solutions. AIM has developed over 100 short courses and Vocational Qualifications to help our students advance their skills and career, regardless of industry and experience. Today, AIM is the market leader in corporate education and training. Our unmatched breadth and depth of programs enables us to support organisations to drive team engagement and growth objectives.

About the Role

As the Lead Facilitator for Digital Skills, you’ll be central to the student experience across the AIM portfolio. You’ll run our tech-for-business courses to ensure they’re high-impact, hands-on sessions that leave working professionals confident and career-ready. Beyond delivering flagship one/two-day classes in your own specialty, your primary responsibilities are to recruit and manage a national bench of contract facilitators and channel your student-facing insights into program improvements that keep our offerings sharp and contemporary.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging, hands-on digital skills workshops (e.g., Excel, data, Python) with a consistent satisfaction rating above 4.7/5.

Recruit, manage and develop a high-quality national pool of contract facilitators.

Build and implement engagement strategies to boost facilitator retention and loyalty.

Monitor student feedback and act to continuously improve facilitator and course quality.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to guide program updates and curriculum innovation.

Support Learning Design and Product teams with insights into emerging tech and industry trends.

Ensure facilitator compliance with contracts, documentation, and professional standards.

About you

5+ years' experience facilitating professional development or tech-based training courses.

Strong knowledge in digital/technical domains and a passion for future-focused education.

Proven experience in managing people or teams, with excellent communication skills.

Confident handling contracts, scheduling, and other operational processes.

Commercially aware and comfortable advising on product strategy and delivery quality.

Collaborative mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
