Position: Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Paediatric Specialist Multidisciplinary Clinic in Deakin ACT 2600
Contract Type: Maternity Cover/Ongoing Employment
Hours: Part Time or Full Time Hours Available (3-5 days per week - Depending on the right candidate)
Start Date: Flexible for the start candidate looking from June / July onwards

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work in a supportive and creative environment, providing specialist occupational therapy services to paediatric patients.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy
Working with Vulnerable People Card
Minimum 6-12 months experience in paediatric occupational therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat children with various developmental, physical, and neurological conditions
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Participate in team meetings and case discussions
Conducting school or home visits for clients as needed.
Engage with families and caregivers to support therapeutic interventions
