The Role

• Lead a team of educators who are providing quality education and care to children aged 2-3
• Plan and implement high quality child-centred educational programmes
• Collaboration with the senior leadership team and with your peers to achieve the service's overall outcomes and values
• Create educational practices influenced by the Reggio Emilia educational theories
• Ensure a safe and compliant learning environment and culture is maintained on a regular basis
• Develop genuine and meaningful relationships with families and relevant stakeholders to the service

About You

• Diploma in Early Education, or an ACECQA approved equivalent
• Hold a paid valid blue card
• Full work rights in Australia
• Minimum of 12 months previous experience as a Lead Educator in an Early Childhood Education and care setting
• Proven ability to work to targets and hold accountability
• Genuine love for mentoring a team of educators
• Natural ability to build rapport and authentic relationships with families and external stakeholders
• In depth knowledge of current industry policies and frameworks
