Your new role
As an APS6 Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial advice and support to various business units within the Department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
• Conducting financial analysis and reporting
• Supporting budget preparation and monitoring
• Providing strategic financial advice to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve financial objectives

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum baseline security clearance
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting and CA or CPA qualified
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in financial management and business partnering
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
