We are excited to announce that we are hiring a full time Restaurant Manager for our restaurant, Marque Bar and Grill at Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel.
As the Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force behind creating an unforgettable dining experience, overseeing daily operations, and leading a passionate team to deliver outstanding service. From curating staff training to ensuring every guest is wowed by the food, your leadership will be key to our success. This is a great relocation & career opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking to step into their first management role. With extensive training and support, you'll have the chance to grow into a leadership position at our vibrant bar and grill.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant and bar
Managing the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the restaurant and bar
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients
Managing, leading and motivating staff to ensure a high preforming team culture is maintained
Work closely with the Executive Chef, Hotel Manager and marketing department to develop marketing material and promotions for Marque Bar and Grill
Roster according to department needs
Create budgets and monitor financial performance of the restaurant.
Annual salary: $73,347.50 plus super plus relocation allowance.
Qualifications
To be a success in this position, you will have:
A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a similar role
Possession of a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and promoting a safe and responsible drinking environment.
Proven experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards.
Expertise in generating and implementing innovative revenue-building strategies and initiatives
Comprehensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including product knowledge, industry trends, and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and senior management, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with an unwavering positive attitude
High level of self-motivation, confidence, and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure
Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required, demonstrating commitment to meeting the needs of the business and ensuring smooth operations.
