Home and Community Access Supports, Respite, and Group Activities. As a Disability Support Worker at My TreeHouse, you will work closely with our Participants, rostering, admin and management team to provide
positive, goal focused support.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have experience working with people with a disability and hold current NDIS compliance documentation and relevant background checks. Please note that this role is primarily in-home/community access based and will include travel across the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region.

Experience supporting NDIS participants.

Be a mature-minded, confident individual who thrives on working as part of a team.

Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach to co-workers and participants.

A strong work ethic and high level of resilience.

A genuine commitment to a whole of life approach to the support needed for people to live more independently and work towards achieving their goals.

Be available for at least 15 hours Monday to Sunday including early mornings and evenings.

Be able to write comprehensive shift notes and incident reports.

Requirements:

Current First Aid and CPR

NDIS Screening Check

Current Police Check

Current Working with Children Check

Drivers License, and a reliable vehicle with registration and comprehensive insurance

NDIS worker orientation module

Summary:

Ongoing shifts available (mornings, days, afternoons, evenings and sleepovers).

Casual position with expected hours: 15-30 per week with ability to pick up extra shifts.

Primarily in-home/community access based and will include travel across the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie region.
