About the facility:
Medium private Residential Aged Care Facility in Cairns, QLD.

About the role:
Full Time - Responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.

Please note the hours are Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible and can even work around school times if needed.

Duties:

• Demonstrate comprehensive Clinical knowledge and experience
• Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
• Report to Clinical Manager
• Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles and accreditation

Skills and experience:

• Current AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse
• Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing or Social Sciences
• Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience working as a Senior Registered Nurse in Aged Care
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Must have strong experience in aged care of at least 3 -5 years.
