About the Position:

The Executive Assistant will report to the Coordinator Executive Services and plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Corporate Services, directly contributing to their success and working collaboratively to achieve goals. You’ll manage schedules, prepare written communications, and assist with corporate processes, all while contributing your fresh perspective. Your responsibilities will include coordinating key meetings and events and serving as a go-to contact for Councillors, community representatives, managers and staff.

You will be part of a supportive team culture where we teach, listen and learn from each other. The role will ideally suit recent graduates of commerce/business bachelor’s degrees as the directorate includes finance, human resources, communications and information technology disciplines, although other relevant bachelor’s degrees may also be considered.

This role will require professionalism, the ability to manage competing priorities and exercise appropriate judgment and discretion. While some administrative experience is beneficial, we value your enthusiasm and willingness to learn above all.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
