We are seeking candidates for the following positions:

Complex Disability Support Workers - We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and experienced Support Worker to provide in-home support for a teenage male client living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3. The role involves working closely with the client and his family in their home environment to assist with daily living skills, emotional regulation, and engaging in meaningful, sensory-friendly activities.

The client experiences high support needs and can display behavioural challenges, including physical aggression, emotional outbursts, and sensory sensitivities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurodivergent individuals with complex behaviours and demonstrate a calm, patient, and person-centred approach.

Support Worker: Supervised Family Visits - assist a teenage male client with autism, ADHD and RAD in attending supervised family visits. The role involves providing in-person support during visits with the client’s family in their home, monitoring interactions, managing behaviours, and offering post-visit feedback to the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

The client experiences high support needs and can display behavioural challenges, including physical aggression and emotional outbursts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurodivergent individuals with complex behaviours under a trauma-informed framework.

About You:

Reliable, empathetic and committed to supporting vulnerable people.

Relevant industry experience and knowledge; formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous

A comprehensive understanding of disabilities and mental health issues and the challenges individuals face.

Ability to effectively manage and deescalate heightened behaviours.

NDIS Workers Screening Check (or be willing to obtain)

Working with Children Check (required for paid employment)

Police Check

Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID011 and CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Current Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
