We want local people living in the West, East, and Inner-North of Adelaide to help turn simple moments into meaningful memories for older people in your community.

At Murray Mallee Aged Care Group, we believe magic happens in life’s ordinary moments:

When you’re dusting Mrs. Jones' shelves and discover she was once a professional dancer. She lights up and tells you stories of the good old days.

As you help Tom tend to his prize-winning rose garden that he’s been nurturing for 40 years.

When you accompany Sarah to her weekly social club, where she’s been a life member since 1998.

We’re looking for two types of roles to help us achieve this:

1. Personal Care Workers – You will need a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) for this role and will primarily assist clients with showering, medications, as well as a bit of household chores.

2. Domestic Care Workers - No formal qualifications are needed for this role, just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and respect for older persons. Your role will primarily be assisting our clients with cleaning, transportation, and other household chores.

In either role, your job is to make our clients’ golden years truly GOLDEN! Each day will be an adventure filled with these small but special moments as you drive from one client’s home to another, ready to make someone’s day.

· Availability—a minimum of three days per week, five hours per day

· Good written communication skills—to accurately note down changes in our clients' lives

What You Need:

Before you don your super Support Worker cape, you'll need to have:

Certificate III in Individual Support (for the Personal Care Worker role only)

A current driver's license and a reliable steed (okay, it's just a car, but it's your trusty companion throughout the day!)

A current First Aid Certificate

A National Police Check

A minimum of two COVID vaccinations

A smartphone (because even heroes need good tech)

The ability to repeatedly lift client equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers (up to 10kg)
