Support Workers - Are you prepared to travel as far as Port Willunga and the Southern and Western Suburbs?

Police HomeCare is an independent Disability and Aged Care service organisation in Adelaide. We are an approved provider for NDIS and Aged Care participants.

Due to growth, we are currently looking for Disability and Aged Care Support Workers who have a commitment to help and support people and are willing to travel to the Southern and Western suburbs. Reliability, a positive attitude, creativity, flexibility, and diligence are all qualities we value in our Support Workers. You will also need a current unrestricted Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle.

About the Role

You will be assisting each client to live with independence and dignity. We offer personal care, cleaning and cooking services along with providing support in social settings for clients of all ages. In cases where a client has specific needs, we offer the appropriate training.

We expect you to always put our client first, always keeping in mind your duty of care and confidentiality.

Our Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or suitable experience

Must have a current DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening

Must have current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling Certificates

Must have a current Immunisation Certification including Flu

Completion of New Worker NDIS Worker Induction Module

Quality, Safety and You NDIS Worker Orientation Module

A commitment to encouraging individuals to achieve their aspirations and goals

Clear fluent English and good communication skills

Life experience
