Our client, a boutique Accounting firm based in Camberwell, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a Permanent basis.
This role would see the incumbent working primarily with high net-worth clients.
The successful candidate will be comfortable to work in the office and will have the ability to grow and develop into larger scale roles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Financials and Income Tax Returns of various entities including individuals, partnership, trusts, companies and SMSFs
• Review the work of team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Identify, investigate and understand clients’ business and financial goals and propose resolutions for complex accounting issues and improve their business processes.
• Provide tailored tax advice and solutions to meet clients' unique financial goals
• Review of ABN Application, GST registration/cancellation, PAYG Withholding registration, PAYG Withholding Variation, PAYG Instalment variation and Income Statements

What do You Need?

• 5 years experience in a Public Practice
• Team management skills
• Experience working with High Net-Worth clients, both individuals and companies
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting software including but not limited to Xero, FYI and BGL
• CPA or CA qualifications
• Experience with SMSF
• The desire to grow into bigger and better things
