About the role

Whelan Kartaway is seeking an experienced Cleaner/Maintenace person in our Brunswick East, VIC facility. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness is maintained across our premises. This is a full-time position based in our Brunswick East location, however part-time will be considered.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for all cleaning activities ensuring completion of all scheduled cleaning tasks to a high standard

Do basic maintenance work around the site - such as mowing lawns

Develop and implement effective cleaning and maintenance schedules and procedures to maximise productivity

Monitor and report on the quality of cleaning work

Identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleaning, equipment or supplies

Ensure all cleaning activities comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Liaise with management to provide updates and recommendations for improvements

What we're looking for

Experience in a cleaning role

Experience as a handy person

Valid Driver's licences

Strong organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

Ability to problem-solve and make decisions to ensure efficient cleaning operations

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and safety procedures

Fluency in English and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
