About the role

As the Arborist Crew Leader at Tree Fix Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in leading a team of arborists and apprentices to perform arboricultural works across the Sunshine Coast region. This is a full-time position that will involve overseeing a range of tree care services, from pruning and removal to emergency response. Our main clientele are governments and government agencies, with a small portion of our works being residential.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate a team to safely and efficiently complete all tree work-related tasks

Assess the condition of trees and develop tailored maintenance plans

Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards

Respond to emergency call-outs and provide expert advice on tree-related issues

Maintain detailed records of work completed and provide regular progress updates

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional customer service

Support the ongoing development of the team through training and mentorship

What we're looking for

Minimum cert 3 in Arboriculture or a related field

Minimum 5 years' experience as an Arborist with demonstrated leadership skills

Expert knowledge of tree biology, identification, and health management

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in climbing, and a range of equipment and machinery

A commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to learn and utilize software applications
