About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Mowing Crew Team Leader to join our Burpengary depot, leading a dedicated turf crew across the Caboolture region. This position is starting in a casual role and will lead to full-time for the right candidate, hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in mowing operations and team management.

You’ll be responsible for delivering scheduled turf maintenance works, supporting your crew, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high standards on every site.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and manage a small mowing crew servicing streetscapes, parks, and commercial landscapes.

Operate a range of commercial mowing equipment including zero-turns, slasher mowers, and push mowers.

Coordinate daily tasks and ensure jobs are completed on time and to standard.

Run daily pre-starts and toolbox talks (SWMS and JSA compliance).

Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and safety.

Use our digital reporting system to complete job documentation and site reports.

Liaise with the Area Manager to manage scheduling, site changes, and crew support.

What You’ll Need

Experience operating commercial mowing equipment.

Previous experience leading a crew or working in a supervisory role.

Strong turf care knowledge and attention to detail.

Manual driver’s licence (essential).

White Card and ACDC (preferred or willing to obtain).

Ability to communicate clearly and lead a small, high-performing team.

$30–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
