About the role

Boston Tree Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team in Park Ridge South, QLD. This full-time position is responsible for providing expert arboricultural services, including the safe and efficient climbing, pruning, and removal of trees. As a Climbing Arborist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and aesthetics of the local environment.

What you'll be doing

Safely climbing and working in trees using ropes, harnesses, and other specialised equipment

Pruning, shaping, and removing trees as per client requirements and arboricultural best practices

Providing recommendations for tree care and management to clients

Maintaining and inspecting all tree care equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety regulations and procedures

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality tree care services

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Climbing Arborist or similar role

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Arboriculture

Proficiency in the use of arboricultural equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lift devices

Strong knowledge of tree biology, identification, and care practices

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Commitment to safe work practices and a strong safety-first mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid MR driver's licence and ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
