About the Role
The Team Leader Community Support is responsible for the supervision and development of a team of approximately 40 Community Support Workers and plays a key role in workforce coordination to ensure effective use of resources and the delivery of high-quality services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Provide leadership to Community Support Workers and assist in the coordination of professional development activities
• Participate in continuous improvement work to ensure Community Support Workers feel connected, supported and informed
• Participate and lead a Community Support team in preparation for transition of services to the new Commonwealth ‘Support at Home’ Program
Skills & Experience
• Experience leading and supporting a remote workforce
• Working knowledge of issues and trends within aged and disability services
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams though change management processes
• Ability to develop solutions to continuously improve systems, work processes and practices in a collaborative manner
• Highly developed information technology skills, with good experience in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications and client management system Carelink Plus
