About the Role:

As the Last Mile Assistant, you are the face of Forty Winks Fyshwick. From preparing stock to delivering and assembling furniture, you'll ensure a seamless and positive experience for our customers from our store to their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently receive and dispatch stock, ensuring accuracy.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workplace.

Move stock on and off the shop floor as required.

Drive company vehicles (manual transmission) to deliver and set up furniture in customers' homes.

Assemble furniture accurately and efficiently in customers' homes.

Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries professionally.

Operate a stock picker (training provided) and company computer systems.

Perform basic maintenance and inspections on work vehicles and equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Driving Experience: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is ESSENTIAL.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.

Customer Centricity: You prioritise customer satisfaction and are dedicated to providing a positive experience.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Problem-Solving Skills: Common sense and ability to think on your feet to find solutions.

Reliability & Punctuality: You are dependable and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.

Team Player: Work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment, with the ability to work autonomously when required.

Weekend Work: Weekend work is required and is essential.

Police Check: Willingness to undergo a police check is essential due to in-home customer interactions.

Right to Work: Must have the right to work in Australia.
