About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a highly organised and motivated Solar Installation Coordinator to join our growing team. If you have experience—or can quickly learn—in managing solar and battery applications, working with Ausgrid and Essential Energy, and coordinating installations from approval to completion, this role could be perfect for you.

This is a full-time salaried position, working Monday to Friday in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Submit and manage applications for solar and DER through Ausgrid and Essential Energy

Handle solar panel and battery rebate applications (PRC and BSTC)

Coordinate installation logistics with customers, installers, and suppliers

Troubleshoot solar system monitoring issues including inverter and battery faults

Maintain accurate records and schedules using Google Sheets

Communicate clearly with customers and team members throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure compliance with regulatory and rebate scheme requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience with, or fast learner in, Ausgrid and Essential Energy application systems

Knowledge of NSW solar and battery rebate programs (PRC and BSTC)

Familiarity with solar PV systems, inverters, and batteries

Confident with Google Sheets and general data management

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong troubleshooting and customer service mindset

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

1–3 years of experience in the solar or renewables industry

Knowledge of common solar tech platforms (e.g. Fronius, APSystems, Alpha ESS, Sigen)

Previous coordination or customer-facing experience
