Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of 5x .Net Developers for a 13 + 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Developing database architecture and designs ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions;
• Creating, maintaining and managing databases;
• Undertaking database administration, including monitoring database performance and backup/recovery;
• Analysing, installing, configuring, migrating, upgrading and testing changes and software patches;
• Developing, documenting and maintaining database housekeeping scripts;
• Resolving issues and problems related to the databases such as performance tuning, backup and recovery;

Experience:

• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Strong experience with High Data Volume & Highly Available Databases
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Familiarity with data models, database design, data mining, documentation & scripting
• Experience with Service NOW and HP TRIM
