About the Role
Choices And Rights is seeking a motivated and experienced House Senior to join our team in Pelican Waters, Nambour and Bald hills. In this important role, you will support individuals with disabilities to live independently, while leading a team to provide person-centered care and foster a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of a group home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents

Supervise and coordinate a team of support workers to deliver tailored support services

Develop and implement individualized support plans in line with residents' goals and needs

Facilitate social, recreational, and community-based activities to enhance wellbeing and inclusion

Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with policies and NDIS regulations

Communicate with allied health professionals, families, and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care

Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to the support team

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role within the disability or aged care sector

Sound understanding of the NDIS and person-centered care practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care) or equivalent experience

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
