ABOUT YOU
If you live in or near these areas, are available on weekdays, have a great personality, and love to help people with cooking, cleaning, outings/community access and other support services including companionship - we would love to meet you! (Please note: Most shifts are during the day, but there may be some weekend and/or evening shifts available at times)
Depending upon your preferences, you could work between 2 to 38 hours per week. The amount you work is driven by you and can be as flexible as needed to fit your lifestyle.
We generally encourage our carers to work with the same clients each week to help build the high levels of rapport and trust that come from long term care relationships, but at times, due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, we require carers to backfill our regular employees too.
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
Certificate III/IV or higher in Aged Care, Disability Care, Community Care, Nursing or equivalent from a Registered Training Organization(RTO) in Australia/New Zealand only (N.B. University students that have completed their first semester in Nursing or Paramedics may also be deemed suitable).

NDIS Worker's Orientation Module Certificate (free to complete online)
Australian/New Zealand citizenship, permanent residence or a valid working visa

Your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance, current Australian (Open) Driver's Licence, and a willingness to transport clients in your own vehicle will be highly regarded! (You will be reimbursed for use of your car to transport clients at the going ATO rate)
Please ensure your location (suburb) is listed in your application and/or provide a list of suburbs you would be willing to work in.
Be available on some or most weekdays (during the day - morning and early afternoon)
