As the Executive Assistant to the Tax team, you’ll be the go-to for a group of Senior fee earners. You’ll take ownership of both traditional legal support work and executive-level coordination, from document prep to diary management, and client liaison to billing.
The Role & Responsibilities
- Owning multiple busy diaries, coordinating appointments, and meetings
- Preparing legal documents, client reports and confidential correspondence
- Managing inboxes, coordinating travel and handling expenses
- Monitoring WIP, managing billing, and supporting reporting cycles
- Liaising directly with clients and internal stakeholders
- Helping drive BD initiatives and coordinating internal team events
- Being a reliable, trusted right hand that keeps things running smoothly
About You
Excelling in this position means that you’ll have:
- 3+ years of expertise supporting at Partner level, ideally within Tax law
- Confidence in client management and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Expert organisation skills and be able to anticipate needs, always staying ahead of the game
- Excellent document formatting abilities, with sound judgement
- A proactive, personable, and calm under pressure approach to work
- Strong knowledge and experience in monthly billing and the software used
