Full-time | Tuesday to Saturday | Base Salary + Performance Bonus ($5–10K OTE)

The Acacia Tree is a rapidly growing Australian furniture company with showrooms in Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast - and plans to expand into Sydney by the end of 2025. We specialise in high-quality timber furniture and are known for our thoughtfully curated showrooms and customer-first culture.

We’re looking for a self-driven, sales-focused Showroom Sales Manager to take full ownership of the Brighton showroom. This is a hands-on role best suited to someone who thrives on independence, takes initiative, and consistently delivers without needing to be micromanaged. You’ll be the face of our brand in Brighton - ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience and that the showroom runs to a high standard, day in and day out.

What You’ll Be Doing

Sales & Customer Experience

Carry out face-to-face sales in the Brighton showroom, helping customers find the perfect furniture for their home

Confidently discuss overall aesthetics and space planning, with a natural interest in interiors and creating beautiful, cohesive spaces

Manage a high volume of customer enquiries across in-person, phone, email, and online chat

Use Shopify and helpdesk software (transitioning to Gorgias) to manage quotes, orders, invoicing, and communications

Proactively follow up with leads and past customers to drive conversions and repeat business

Resolve customer issues or complaints with empathy, accountability, and a solutions-first mindset

Showroom Presentation & Operations

Ensure the showroom is always clean, beautifully presented, and aligned with brand standards

Implement visual merchandising, layout, and signage based on our direction

Receive, unbox, and assemble furniture deliveries for display—including larger, heavier pieces

Occasionally assist with basic product updates to reflect availability or presentation on the website

Collaboration & Support

Work independently while maintaining communication with the management team

Collaborate with our remote team in the Philippines and showroom teams in other locations

Share ideas, feedback, and improvements to help evolve the customer experience

Sales Reporting & Performance

Monitor and report on key showroom metrics (conversion rates, customer feedback, sales data)

Use insights to contribute to broader business and sales improvements

What Success Looks Like

Consistently high sales conversion and customer satisfaction

A showroom that’s always immaculate, welcoming, and on-brand

Confident, independent day-to-day decision-making with minimal oversight

Valuable insights shared that help improve products, systems, or processes

What You’ll Need

Strong experience in retail or consultative sales, ideally with higher-ticket products

Confident, clear communication skills and strong follow-through

Be based not too far from Brighton

Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage yourself and your space

Experience with Shopify or similar POS/CRM platforms

Confidence unboxing, moving, and assembling furniture for showroom display

A genuine sense of style and space, with a natural ability to guide customers through design decisions

A self-motivated mindset and a strong sense of ownership - this role is best suited to someone who is internally driven and takes pride in doing their best work without external pressure

Nice to Have

Experience across both in-store and online sales environments

Familiarity with Gorgias, Klaviyo, and Google Workspace

An interest in personal development and contributing to a high-performance, values-driven team
