A high proportion of organisations providing life support training programs, including hospitals, ambulance, universities, TAFEs, Police and Defence have used their products for many years.

The Role:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Lead Specialist is an integral part of the lead generation strategy to support sales growth in this company. The Lead Specialist will use the existing client database and digital marketing campaigns as primary sources to prequalify leads, to ensure only high-quality opportunities are passed on to the sales team to close. The role includes the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

• Identify & secure relevant direct sales opportunities

• Provide advice on selected subscription solutions, & facilitate renewal of service & warranty packages

• Achieve annual sales revenue target – directly associated to leads converted into orders

• Communicate effectively with potential leads (external customers) & internal team members/stakeholders

• Educate customer leads on value of products

• Engage with Marketing Department on digital campaign lead generation

• Manage the lead generation funnel by effective follow-up to move prospects to viable sales leads

• Pre-qualify leads & provide warm, qualified leads to appropriate sales members

• Provide customer quotes for leads where within the scope of the role

• Assist Marketing Department to prepare campaign lists & associated duties with uploading key data into the CRM (Salesforce)

• Support other marketing events such as campaigns & lead generation - conferences, events, webinars & other meetings

• Develop email templates for use in following up leads & providing solution information.

Your Background:

We are seeking candidates with the following attributes:

• Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in sales, which could be internal or external sales, telemarketing or marketing support

• Experience in a medical product/service or life science sales environment is preferred, but not mandatory

• Outgoing, friendly & able to quickly build professional rapport through various communication channels such as telephone & email

• Sales & goal oriented

• Self-starter who can work independently & as part of a team

• General IT, Excel & preferably data management skills

• Use of a CRM highly regarded

• Interest in learning about medical products & terminology.

The Salary Package:

On offer is the following:

• Attractive base salary

• Quarterly bonus – up to $20k per annum in total

• 11.5% superannuation

• Health & wellness allowance.

Training:

There is in-depth initial, as well as ongoing training to ensure you have the skills necessary to succeed in this role and to equip you for a long-term future with this company. This includes Basic Life Support training, which will be available to be maintained on an ongoing basis, so as to remain current.
