About the role

Are you passionate about teaching young children and helping them develop a love for the water?

Wagga Swim School is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Swimming Instructors to lead our Water Bubs classes, working with babies and toddlers aged 4 months to 3 years.

What you'll be doing

Delivering our Water Bubs group classes - ages 4months to 3yrs

Deliver fun, safe, and engaging swimming lessons for our youngest swimmers.

Foster water confidence, basic water skills, and a positive first experience in the pool.

Build strong relationships with both children and their parents/carers.

Be part of a supportive, friendly team that values passion and professionalism.

Hours of work available

Mornings - Mon - Sat 9am to 12.30pm

What we're looking for

Relevant swimming qualifications or willingness to obtain, training available for the right person (e.g. Austswim, Royal Life)

A warm, positive attitude and genuine love for working with young children.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students

Commitment to helping others develop their skills and confidence in the water

Current CPR and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
