Skinnydip Urban Retreat ( www.skinnydipurbanretreat.com.au ) is a beautiful boutique Health Retreat, Day Spa, Apothecary & Store in Leichhardt, Sydney. We specialise in Remedial Massage including Deep tissue, Pregnancy, Relaxation, Lymphatic, Heated Stone and more. We also offer gorgeous Facials, Signature massage treatments, Spa inspired sessions and many other natural health modalities!

We are looking for two highly skilled, Remedial Massage Therapists to complete our team. If you are passionate about massage, dedicated to your practice, have attention to detail, thrive in a quiet and peaceful environment and are excited to take on our existing remedial massage client base of over 15 years, we are excited to connect with you!

Contracted payment rate will be negotiated in alignment with your qualifications, professional experience, availability and proven retention rates. Bonuses are also added to reward your commitment, strong retention rates and product sales in our boutique wellbeing store. Higher rate payable/ negotiable for commitment to weekend shifts!

We are interested in colleagues who are seeking 2-4 days per week, and are available to work Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (must be available at least 1 weekend day due to high demand for treatment sessions on those days).

Essential Requirements

Fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with Diploma or Cert IV. (with 2 years or more experience).

Your own PI and PL insurances, professional association membership and a current first aid certificate.

Registered with major health funds for HICAPS - most of our regular clients will choose a health fund covered practitioner.

An Australian resident or able to work permanently in Australia.

Passionate about a career as a massage therapist, with a committed work ethic and a high standard of professionalism.

Have the ability to perform a strong, nurturing and confident massage with demonstrated skills in therapeutic remedial massage and deep tissue therapies. Able to massage 4-5 clients daily.

Strong retention rates, able to rebook your client and execute relevant treatment programs with the ability to work together, for long term desired health outcomes.

Attentiveness and ability to communicate authentically and confidently with your clients, dedication to your work and your work space. We absolutely pride ourselves on our presentation and attention to the finer details.

Maintain detailed documentation and client records in accordance with our expected industry standards.

Be exceptionally well presented, punctual, a team player yet able to work independently.

We would favour a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist who may also be qualified in other forms of body work or is multi-modality (e.g. Hot stone Massage, Pregnancy, Relaxation/Swedish, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, Beauty/Facials, Naturopathy, Reflexology, Reiki, Craniosacral, Dry Needling etc).
