About the role

Holistic Remedial Massage is seeking Experienced and Students of Remedial Massage. Masseuse are encouraged to join our team in Hawthorn, VICTORIA on a contract basis. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, therapeutic massage treatments to our clients, helping them manage pain, reduce stress, and improve their overall wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify areas of concern and develop personalised treatment plans

Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including deep tissue, Soft Tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, to alleviate muscle tension, joint pain, and other musculoskeletal issues

Educate clients on proper body mechanics, stretching, and self-care techniques to help manage their conditions

Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment

Actively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Diploma, Certificate or Students in Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent qualification

experienced Remedial Massage Masseuse preferably in a clinical or allied health setting

Certificate and Diploma Students are encouraged to apply

Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

Ability to tailor massage techniques to individual client needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
