About Us

Building Women Ltd is a not-for-profit backed by a federal grant to deliver a groundbreaking initiative: Breaking Barriers for a Diverse SA Construction Workforce. Our focus? Educate, Empower, Employ.

We deliver practical ‘taster’ programs to help women enter construction, provide wraparound support, and work closely with employers to make worksites inclusive, respectful, and safe. We don’t just tick the box; we redesign it.

About the Role

This full-time Program Manager position will see you lead a movement, not just a project. You’ll drive:

Design and delivery of 6-week hands-on pre-employment programs

Coordination with employers, RTOs, social services and industry bodies

Mentorship and support for women from diverse backgrounds (including First Nations women, migrants, and career changers)

Workplace education with employers through social frameworks

Data collection, milestone reporting, and continuous improvement aligned to federal funding requirements

Background in, or strong understanding of, construction, trades or infrastructure

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and timelines

Passion for gender equity and inclusive workforce development

High-level communication and mentoring skills
