Who you'll be working with

Our Participant is a resilient and engaging neurovirgent individual with a recent spinal injury. He is moving home with his family and requires a team of skilled, empathetic support professionals to help him live a full and connected life.

He’s into boxing, Mine Craft, Call of Duty, and a good laugh—so if you’re confident, friendly, and fun but know when to be serious professional and have a sound understanding of Spinal Injuries, ASD, ODD and PTSD - we want to hear from you!

We’re Looking For

We are recruiting exceptional support workers who are:

Physically capable and confident working with heavier manual handling and complex needs

Experienced with or willing to be trained in high intensity supports and manual handling

Trauma-informed and confident supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities

Able to build meaningful rapport through shared interests like gaming or sports

Passionate about person-centred care and promoting independence and dignity

Be open and able to work with their needs, not in a manner that suits your own.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (desirable)

Experience in spinal injury and neurodevelopmental and behaviour disorders (ODD)

Understanding of positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches

Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check and Current First Aid & CPR

Are Reliable, honest, flexible, Caring, Empathetic, Understanding and all round legend
