Salary: $74,000 to 90,000 commensurate with experience

Zec Automotive are currently looking for a motivated experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop in Castle Hill on a full-time permanent basis. We are a busy workshop specialising servicing and repairs to petrol and diesel light vehicles and light commercials.

This role as a Motor Mechanic must have a passion to carry out mechanical servicing and repairs in a professional, effective and timely manner.

This position will include performing a variety of repairs including but not limited to;

· Vehicle servicing and repairs, including light commercials,

· diagnostics and fault finding,

· use computerised diagnostic equipment

· Test parts and diagnose various systems and performing repairs to ensure they work properly

· Diagnose, repair and/or replace worn brakes and suspension,

· Perform minor and major repairs, including engine and transmission assemblies,

· Tyre changing, balancing and wheel aligning on a wide range of motor vehicles and types.

· Test drive vehicle before and after work is completed

The requirements, Qualifications & Experience are;

· Applicants must hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or an equivalent qualification),

· have at least one to two years of relevant work experience.

· Possess Motor Vehicle Tradesman Certificate

· Own their own tools

· Understand and Diagnose electrical components

· Pink Slip, Blue Slip, A/C and electrical, diesel skills highly regarded

· Current driver's licence

· Ability to work well as part of a busy team

· A professional and reliable attitude with great communication and good written skills, with the ability to work independently.
