About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician - Light vehicle mechanic to join us at Michael's Workshop in Willetton, WA. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Japanese, Korea & China light vehicles in our well-equipped workshop.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on light vehicles

Performing routine vehicle inspections, servicing and maintenance tasks

Dismantling and reassembling vehicle components and systems

Documenting all work completed and providing feedback to customers

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent

Minimum 6 years' experience as an Automotive Service Technician - Light vehicle mechanic

diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of vehicle systems, components and repair procedures

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work efficiently both independently
