The Opportunity

Reporting to the Library Technologies, Discovery and Access Manager the focus of this role will be to coordinate the Indigenous Initiatives Project to curate, preserve and provide access to materials relating to Indigenous cultures, histories, languages and research.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for identifying, and managing materials related to Indigenous cultures, histories, languages, and contemporary issues in line with Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property principles.

This position will work closely with the Manager of Library Technologies, Discovery and Access and key stakeholders to connect with communities across and outside Monash University to progress the aims of the Monash Reconciliation Action Plan, Monash Strategic Plan and the Library Strategic Plan.

If you have a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training, we look forward to receiving your application.
