RSL WA is Western Australia’s primary provider of well-being, welfare and advocacy for veterans, serving and ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families. POSITION STATEMENT

The position will be based at RSLWA State Branch in Perth CBD, reporting to the ANZAC Club General Manager or to other staff as delegated. The successful candidate will work within the ANZAC Club.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of functions and events by ensuring junior Food & Beverage Attendants are performing their duties

Greeting and assisting our clients and guests

Explaining menu items

Serving of food and beverages

Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and events venues within ANZAC House

Monitor the inventory

Attend to cash registers

Other duties as directed by the ANZAC Club General Manager

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience

Prior experience as an Attendant with restaurants or hotels

A sound knowledge of restaurant hygiene practices and Work Health Safety standards

Personal Skills and Attributes

Highly adaptable with ability to work flexibility, including out of standard work hours (for RSLWA events) as required.

Strong teamwork orientation, with the ability and social skills to work collaboratively with staff at all levels

Customer service oriented

Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated, proactive and with a high-energy level

Ability to take responsibility, show initiative and work calmly under pressure

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check prior to commencing employment.
