Fetch is partnering with a leading civil construction company that’s expanding its Brisbane team and is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor with 10+ years in the field. This role is ideally suited to someone who’s highly skilled in subdivision work and ready to hit the ground running.

Right now, the focus is firmly on subdivision projects, where your experience will play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient survey outcomes. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and construction teams to ensure everything is built right. Expect to be hands-on with the latest technology including GPS, Total Stations, drones, laser scanners, and machine guidance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct subdivision-focused surveys including set-outs, as-constructed, conformance and ADAC.
• Perform detail, EOM, service locating, and monitoring surveys when required.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure data accuracy and resolve design issues.
• Create set-out data and 3D models using advanced software and computation tools.
• Provide machine guidance support and ensure equipment is maintained to standard.
• Maintain digital data systems and uphold document control requirements.
• Oversee quality assurance processes including QA/QC checks and rework registers.
• Provide technical mentoring to junior team members.
• Prepare and submit quotes as needed, and manage day-to-day resourcing on site.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in surveying, with a strong focus on subdivisions and civil construction.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science or Geomatics.
• Familiarity with TMR standards and experience across land development projects.
• SBQ or SSSI registration highly regarded.
• Confident in using Trimble equipment, 12D Model, AutoCAD, GPS, and machine guidance systems.
• Drone/UAV and scanning/data processing experience is a bonus.
• Clear communicator with the ability to liaise across project teams.
• Organised, detail-oriented and solutions-driven.
• Must be currently based in Australia or have full Australian working rights.
