About the work

As a Senior Project Surveyor/Project Surveyor you will work as part of a team or take the lead on your assigned project. This is a full-service role, and you will be responsible for day-to-day surveying requirements as well as ensuring that all your deliverables are ready for the end-of-month.

Your typical day will involve:

Pre-Start Meeting

Daily task planning and distribution

Construction setout and asbuilt surveys for civil and bulk earthworks

RPAS flights

Design Verification

Bill of Quantity Verification

GPS Machine Guidance file production

End of month reporting

Confidently managing relationships

About you

As an Engineering Surveyor, this role requires an excellent people and resource manager.

You must be able to take charge of the project from the get-go and have the confidence to keep all sites on-track with our project timelines.

You will be responsible for liaising with engineers and geotechnical staff on site daily.

You will be the face of our business with the client and our customer experience is very important to us.

Our staff have a natural tendency to be led by the clients results and making sure they have what they need but are empowered and willing to guide our clients to ensure the best outcome for the project.

Attention to detail, a love for the numbers as well as a love for technology will ensure that you are part of the delivery team providing exceptional outcomes.

Experience Engineering Surveyor

Surveying qualifications

Several, full end-to-end project rollouts

Trimble GNSS and Total Stations (preferable)

12D

Trimble Business Centre (preferable)

RePL (preferable)

Pix4D (preferable)

These roles are FIFO/DIDO to projects in regional QLD with your choice of roster - 2:2. 2:1 or 7/7. We also have full time roles available in Gladstone, QLD for candidates who would consider relocating.
