About the role
Rosebud Cottage Child Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our team in Rozelle, NSW. As an Educator with a Certificate or Diploma qualification, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for the children in our care. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of our respected childcare centre.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the learning and wellbeing of children aged 0-6 years

Observing and documenting children's progress, using this information to plan and adapt activities

Providing a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment that promotes children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive development

Collaborating with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to each child's care and education

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

Actively participating in team meetings, training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Experience working as an Educator in a childcare setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills to enhance children's learning experiences

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management qualifications

A valid Working with Children Check
